How to stop my parents from putting my cat down?

Call the vet and tell them what's going on, persuade your parents that the cat isn't possessed by a demon (seriously they think that?) If the cat is just losing it's hearing then there really shouldn't be any reason to put it down I just find that kinda cruel, give me the cat I'll love and take care of it :\
