Why do gays believe that ex-gays are just lying to themselves?

i think its dispicable that some gays and s say that an ex-gay is trying to "deny himself and his innate desires by attempting to stop being gay." Someone said that to me once. But who are you all to say that im suppressing myself? People go through many changes, including attraction, and i should not be told to stop "denying myself" if i decide to change my actions. I don't agree with ex-gays trying to get others to change either. The bottom line is that people should have free will, without being told they are "sinners" or "are denying themselves." If someone wants to stop being gay, let them try it. They will figure out what they want, without a person getting enraged at "another gay afraid to be himself." Can I hear an arguement against this?

I feel for you. This was my little one a year ago. It is colic. Your little one is at the perfect age for it to spike at its worst. I will say milk probably will help some. It's worth a try. It may make her somewhat less gy. My milk never came in until 2 weeks after birth and then was not enough to feed so I didn't have the option to try this. I will say that it only lasts 3 months and then your little one will be happy go lucky. This frame will seem forever but she will recover. To help with the gy tummy try burping her after every other ounce or so. Also try Dr. Brown's bottles which really helped me a lot. Try to keep her on just one formula and don't switch her around a lot. Ask your pediatrician for a recommendation and stick with it. It takes about 2 weeks for their system to get used to new formulas so switching frequently doesn't do any good. I hope this helps and good luck.

Ever since I had a fear of bikes which is why I left this parked on a corner of my garage for so long. However now I am thinking of selling this bike and would like to start it first. I know as a start I should to change the battery. Apart from that this is the last carbureted bike made which means it might be more tricky to start than a fuel injected one. My baby corn snake won't eat?

I got a corn snake a few weeks ago, and the guy at the shop told me to feed him the following day, as that was when he was due a feed. However, he didn't seem interested at all, and was more intent on getting out of the box i put him in. I tried again two days later, to no success, and then three days later. I then tried putting him in the box for longer, and placing something across the lid so he couldn't feel scared and exposed. He simply used the fact i couldn't see him to get out of the box, and i caught him just in time. I then put him in a box, with holes poked in the lid, and left him overnight, and he still wouldn't eat. I've tried this twice more since then. It's been three weeks since i got him, and he still won't eat. At first i thought it was the stress of moving, but he's settled in fine, and doesn't even act scared of me when i put my hand in to say hi, he slithers on volunarily. Mast cell tumor and my 9 year old American Bulldog -- advice please!!!?

Hi -- My 9 year old American Bulldog was just diagnosed with having a tumor with mast cells on her leg. It has been there for over a year and was diagnosed earlier as just a fatty tumor. Over the past year it has gotten bigger so the vet aspirated it and decided that she needs surgery to remove it immediately. It will then be tested to see how much the mast cells have spread, etc. The main question I have is about the surgery -- as she is an older dog and also a breed that has some risks ociated with it, I am afraid of the anesthesia despite the fact that my vet is confident that she will come out of it okay. She is not experiencing any other symptoms, and has no other problematic health conditions that would complicate things. Any advice on this or success with holistic remedies for mast cell tumors would be GREATLY appreciated -- thank you!!!

My husband has had hep c for 40 years. Since he has never been a drinker or a drug user, his liver is in good condition.. Not all people with hep c need to take treatment. We could place more emphasis on preventative health care. Face it people. We pay a lot more in the end if people come to the emergency room with something serious. Drug mark ups are ridiculous. Many doctors have to spend hours on the phone with insurance companies trying to convince then that certain services are needed. Or... everyone could just go to the emergency room and just don't pay the bill. Tax payers will foot the bill one way or another.

Black thing on skin!!! PLEASE HELP!!!?

okay so about a week ago I noticed a pimple like black thing on my skin, it was dome shaped and it felt uncomfortable when I touched it. aabout 7-10 days later today I was sitting on a bench and I scrapped it accidentaly and it started hurting kinda like a sliver, so me and my friend started it squeezing it out like a pimple, it looked like a pimple ready to come out. It was rather large, kinda like a g seed, under some pus and blood it finally came out! Now I have a spot on my skin the size of the black thing, and the hole is black (kinda like after a pimple) but this one actually left a black stain like after being stabbed with a led pencil. I was married at the time. We spent evenings talking, and a few times hugged. Having two babies close together. . .?

My son is now 7 months old. My husband and I want another child and we would like to have them kind of close together. But I gained 40 lbs with my son, and I am just now really starting to get into the dieting and strenuous excercise to try to lose the weight. And with the next one, I don't want to end up putting on another 40 lbs on top of the 40 I gained with my son. But I don't know if it will make a difference if I lose the weight now or not. My husband and I have been married for a little over six years. We have been unable to concieve. We have been discussing alternatives for the past year. We found out recently that my husband is unable to have children. I told a close male friend of mines about my situation and he is married as well. He currently has two children and does not want anymore. He is willing to help me. My husband knows I have a friend that will help me conceive. My husband don't know him and I don't know my friend's wife. The only problem is he wants to do it natural. My friend whom I have known for years is black and I am white. I saw online where so many children was upset and hurt about how their mother's used sperm donors to conceive them. My husband says he will love a child regardless if its his biologically or not. My family are very religious, not saying I am either. I see that the only thing that is missing in my marriage is a child. We are always keeping other people children but it still is not the same as having our own. I really love my husband unconditionally and I know he loves me unconditionally as well. I see no problem telling my parents I used a sperm donor to produce a child. I can't deal with this anymore. I'm 15. My little sister is 7 years old, she has lung disease, brital ashma, kidney problems. She has a wheel chair and in my house we have a stair lift. She can walk but she gets out of breath and stops breathing. (She has been resusitated 4 times) She has been ill ever since she was born and basically lives in hospital. She has had soo many operations and tests done but they still can't sure her. I hate hospitals and she always crys for me to be their when she is canualted (put on a drip) she has had to be put in special care (in a coma) for a few weeks because she couldn't breath for herself, she's always soo poorly. My household is always at the hospital so I wake up for school home alone, go to school, come home and no one is home and then I go to bed when I'm home alone. It gets too much to handle. My brother was in a really bad car crash a year ago and the hospital thought he was dead. He was in a hospital about 3 hours away from home for about 7 months. He was really poorly. My dad has a problem where he has prequent strokes. And now I'm in the scare of maybe being pregnant, I think I just want someone to love and take care of (I know it sounds silly but I can't do that with my family as I don't get no attention off of them) with my boyfriend, he's really supportive over the pregnancy thing as we both work. Isn't it more important to care about the person and deal with whether or not they are a virgin or not later? There is not long 'training' period if your lover is a virgin, you can both learn together. If she has had before, this does not mean she isn't tight or is 'damaged' either. Sounds like your timing belt has jumped a tooth, probably because the timing belt is severely worn or the tensioner is failing. That is an interference engine and I would not drive it because, although it will run one tooth off on the valve timing, howbeit very rough, if it jumps another tooth or if the belt fails completely you risk valve and piston damage if the valves impact the pistons.

Mother in law and husband fighting about to have baby in 3 weeks!?

Ok so here is the situation in a nutshell. Hubby and I are expecting our baby in about 3 weeks. Right before i got pregnant they had a big fight (She was kind of a crappy mother when he was growing up) His last straw with her was about 2 years ago come august she had to serve 6 months for embezzlment (no judgements please, hubby is a great man!) We had to take in his 17 yr old sister to get her finished with highschool and that put our baby plans on hold bc we own a 2 bedroom house so we wouldnt have room for both baby and her. Anywho, we knew she had probably been stealing from her current employer and she swore up and down she didnt... WELL WELL she did and got caught and he was just so over her crap and drama and lies so he told her he was done and didnt want anything to do with her anymore.. he was mad. Well almost 9 months has gone by and he has stuck to his guns, i talked to her about once/twice a month to keep her up to date on her grand daughter and find out how my little sister in law is doing( although we DO talk to her.)He knows this and is ok with it,he is not totally heartless when it comes to his mother. his grandparents, aunt and uncle and little sister are coming up from LA when the baby is born to stay about a week and he has made it clear to them his mother is not welcome, his family understands and agrees bc its his baby and life so ultimaly his choice. I really want them to work their problems out but i am not going to cause a riff in my happy healthy marriage by pushing how i feel on him. I am a black male in college and my college is racially diverse but all of the females that have been interested in me have been white non black females. It depends on what has caused the colic in the past. I doubt it was apples. Any risk posed by an apple tree in the pasture is very small. My pasture has several apple trees in it, and the only problem I've had with them in the past 10 years is when my one pony got old and his teeth went bad, he choked once from trying to eat one. That problem was solved by having him wear his grazing muzzle for the couple of weeks when the apples fall off the trees. The rest of the year they're just normal trees, and the horses leave them alone.

4 weeks pregnant and questions about Hcg levels.?

I went to the doctor yesterday and got a positive urine test. The doctor did a l ultrasound but said that it was too early to see the baby. I called this morning to get my bloodwork results and my level was 42 and he wants me to come back next Tuesday to do another ultrasound. He said the level needs to be about 1500 before they can see anything. Will it make it that high in only a week? Is something wrong he's not telling me? I'm nervous. We have been trying for about 9 months so we are so excited and don't want to lose this.

in UK we have to get a provisional licence before we can have lessons, and before we take our driving test we have to p a theory and hazard perception test. Our driving test is aproximately 40 minutes long. We have to do 2 manoeuvres on this test out of a possible three, turn in the road (used to be 3 point turn), reverse parking (used to be parallel parking) or reverse round a corner. When can I start trying again?

I was threatning a miscarriage very early in the pregnancy. I started my next due period on time while being pregnant. I went to the OB the day it started and he did blood worked which showed my levels to be 28 and 2 days later i went back and that bloodwork showed the hcg levels a 21. They want to see me again to do more bloodwork and I am not sure why. Is it possible that my period being on could have messed with my levels? Or could I have miscarried during my period. My car won't start, please help!?

Ok, I just decided I'd go get some food, since I haven't eaten in 6 days, so I went to my hyundai elantra (2004,) and it won't start all of a sudden! The battery is only 3 months old, and the car has 1/8 tank of gas left. The car keeps on cranking and sputtering and stalling but it won't start. I tried cranking for longer, but still nothing. Even after 20 second long cranks, I get nothing sometimes, just cranking, and sometimes it just sputters and stalls. I also tried pumping the gas pedal a lot, but still nothing The car is in park, and has always started by the third try. I tried a jump box, but it makes no difference. Please help, I realllly need to get food, and I don't want to have to wait another day to get it fixed! Thanks!

Best Multi effects pedal for Electric guitar?

I have a Zoom G2.1u (has the expression pedal, USB port, and software). It is a great pedal and very well built. I have used it every day for several years and have no complaints about it. I've used the Digitech RP pedals and would consider them a step down and not well built (cheap plastic body). The BOSS pedals you mentioned are both good. Make sure you get one with an expression pedal if you're going to "upgrade" though. I really like the Line6 effects (POD XT). You can get a separate expression pedal to go with that or get the POD XT Live which has one. The lead guitarist in our band uses one and it is a great setup but I think it would blow your budget.

i am starting high school next year and the high school that i am going to is know for being really good as well as super hard. they have the IB (international baccalaurate) program for 11th and 12th graders, and i am debating whether or not i should do it. right now i am signed up for all honors cles next year and i am going to do every single AP cl possible and grit my teeth and bare it so that i can hopefully get into a good college (northwestern, unc, or duke). but i have heard from different people that colleges would rather see that if you had the oppritunity to do the ib program, you should do it even if you dont do well as long as you take that oppritunity. so my question basically is, will these colleges turn me down if i didnt do the ib program even though i had the oppritunity to? or will they look at my gpa and grades in the AP cles and determine my acceptance on that? thank you so much for answering, i know i have a while to decide but i want to make up my mind so that i can get prepared for the loadssss of work :].

15 Month Old Not Sitting Up, Crawling, Holding Bottle, or Walking...?

My daughter Kyrstin is 18 months old. She was born at around 27 weeks. So "corrected" age is 15 months .... she has been in physical therapy since she was released from the hospital at 3 months old, and with twice a month therapy she has come a long way. She was so fragile when we brought her home, on several meds and on a apnea heart monitor, my husband and I where scared to touch her she was so tiny. When we brought her home from the NICU she weighed just under 4 pounds. She did not hold a bottle until around 8 months. She did not start sitting up unisted until she was about 13 months old, crawling at 15 months, taken off the heart monitor at 17 months and she has been walking on her own for about 2 weeks. She still has some problems when she gets going fast or "trying" to run, but she is getting it. She does not talk, only babbles...the basic ma-ma and things but she waves bye-bye all the sudden...It seems that the past in the past 2 months we have seen her totally bloom. She is starting speech therapy in Oct, they tell us that they can only do one thing at a time (learning wise)...like 1st she will learn to sit up, then concentrate on crawling, then concentrate on walking then talking that sort of thing. I know that it is hard, and you worry to no end at how she will do developmently. And when you see another baby your babies age it only makes you worry more. All babies are different and all preemies are different, have you spoken with your pediatrician? Our pedi is awesome and gave us some information for Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)...they are a state funded program BUT they will see anyone. If your income is above guidelines there is a small copay that you will have to pay, but nothing huge NO matter what your family income is they will see you. We have the best group of people working with Kyrstin. I wish you the best of luck and I know that in her own time she will start to do all the things she is (supposed) to do.....until then work with her every chance you get. How can I get my SIL to like me?

My husband's sister isn't too big on me. I really don't know why.. I am a very nice, easy going person. She is the youngest in the family, but still 26 yrs old. So it's always awkward at family get togethers because she doesn't speak to me and I don't know what to say to her. She's pretty well off money wise and my husband and I aren't, she is very church involved and we're not, etc. So we don't have much in common. A few months ago, she had a miscarriage. She was nice and said thanks, etc. A few weeks later, we found out I'm pregnant. So we had to break that news to her which I'm sure didnt help my case at all. However, a month or so later she found out she was pregnant again and is doing well with this pregnancy. That's been a few months ago. My husband recently found emails btwn his sister and mom where his sister was saying how last time I was over there I was being "pissy". No.. I wasn't! I laughed at all the jokes and tried to put my 2 cents in on everything but once again, not much I can talk about. But I was by no means "pissy". The rest of his family likes me because I don't think I'm a horrible person.. but why doesn't she like me?! I am about to give up trying because I feel like everytime I make an effort to make conversation with her she is just short with me. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.

How do you handle a friend who acts moody and quiet?

I used to date this guy (just briefly). Every time I see him out, he acts really quiet and doesn't talk to me. I know its not a problem with me, it's his personality. He's kind of moody and doesn't say a whole lot, unless the cirstances are perfect or if he needs something. He does talk to some people more than others though, and I'm not sure why. My problem is that I feel really bad because he gives me no attention, but he can be a really cool guy, or atleast he used to be. I feel bad after I've been around him, like I've been ignored. Yesterday, my kitchen was crawling with 4 or 5 centipedes. Today there was a nest of maggots on my garbage lid and I almost touched them. There was also a centipede crawling in my housemate's room the other day. I have a major trauma of worms/centipedes/millipedes etc. and I just cannot stand even looking at them. I'm absolutely petrified and I need to know how I can get rid of or at least repel them from coming in my room. Any solutions? I know the rainy season is making it worse but I need to at least do something to prevent them from crawling into my room. Please help...

I'm making a reborn doll for my niece, and I've purchased acetone to strip it, rit dye to dye the inside and acrylic paints to paint it, I haven't been able to find any good directions online (I've been online researching for a week!) and I'm wondering if before painting the doll if I have to apply a matte acrylic varnish or base coat before painting, or if its OK to paint vinyl without a basecoat- Ive had trouble finding one thats matte, they all seem to be satin or gloss- also if anyone has made one of these dolls could you please p on any tips in getting started... I got a perm on the 8th of this month so right at two weeks ago. I have some natural curl on the underneath part of my hair. My hair is very thick and very course so the weight of my hair straightens the top part of my hair. Long story short because of the natural curl underneath my hair just looks funky. So I got a perm. My doctor has perscribed to me the birth control pill. I know that for it to be at its fullest effectiveness, it should be taken at the same time every day. Does the flash on a compensated barrel really effect vision in low light that much?

Ive heard that the compensated barrel just blinds the heck out of a person at night; however, other say that it is not that bad. What do you think. Is there any way to lower the flash on a compensated barrel? Finally, I have also been told that the gases are just horrible to stomach comming out of a compensated barrel, it that true? Hi, I installed a homemade HHO fuel cell in my car, and now the car sputters at 3000rpms. Help? 2004 Accord?

Cell was made from 12 stainless steel plates, baking soda was added to water. Disconnected rubber hose from intake manifold, drilled a hole in the intake manifold rubber hose(just after the airfilter), Put hydrogen hose into manifold. Hooked HHO wires up to car battery(just held them there, to test). 14guage, 20 amp wire, also a 40amp fuse was used on the hydrogen generator. After I hooked it up, it sounded fine. I didnt proceed to hook the generator up. I test drove the car without the HHO and immediately at 3000 rpms the car would sputter and wouldnt go over 3000rpms. I tried to reset the computer by unhooking the neg. battery terminal, I checked the O2 sensors, they looked fine. I dont think there is a leak in the vacuum but will be getting carb cleaner to check.
